
Coach Pete Adkins served as head coach of the Jefferson City High School Jay football team for 37 years, from 1958 to 1995. He compiled a staggering 405-60-4 career record, resulting in an 86.8% winning percentage - the highest win percentage of any high school football coach in U.S. history at the time of his retirement.
